The Lago 600 is our own development. It is based on the popular Gandria 2, which was built by Cantiere Prosperi in Gandria from the 1990s until 2023.
In 2024, with Pippo Prosperi’s blessing, Nautica’s took over the further development and production of the boat. The result is the Lago 600. It bears the boatbuilding signature of Markus Niederberger, the founder of Nautica’s, and Richard Furrer, its current owner.
The Lago is a simple yet refined boat. Clean design is combined with high-quality construction and numerous thoughtful, practical details.
The MORCOTE model, for example, features a bathing platform with a wide, comfortable swim ladder. It not only makes getting in and out of the water easier, but also improves the boat’s stability and handling.
The CAPRINO, on the other hand, features an elegant steering console and a comfortable driver’s seat.
The recommended engine range is from 8 to 40 hp. Every boat is built by us and can be individually configured in terms of colours and materials. Special requests are welcome too.
The Lago takes you wherever life on the lake is at its best: sunbathing and swimming, shopping in Lugano or heading to a grotto in style. With the Lago, you travel in an uncomplicated and charming way, with an unmistakable connection to Ticino and Lake Lugano.

One family. Four generations.
VERGA is a family-owned boatbuilder based in Lomazzo, near Como. For four generations, the family has been building boats and continuously developing its production methods.
As early as 1952, one of Europe’s first fibreglass boats was built here. In 1958, VERGA-Plast was founded and continues to manufacture boats to this day.
To mark VERGA’s 65th anniversary, the new generation wanted to take a new direction: to create a modern boat – fast, contemporary and unmistakably Italian.
Modern in technology. Nostalgic in its lines.
The previous generation agreed, on one condition: the hull had to retain the traditional clinker lines characteristic of the classic boats of Lake Como.
Together with Matteo Costa Yacht & Design, they created the Sestante 6.8. A boat deliberately positioned between two eras: modern construction and performance combined with the design language of traditional Lake Como boats.

Nautica’s & VERGA
The story began with a simple question. A Nautica’s customer was looking for a slightly larger alternative to the Lago 600.
Together, we started looking at different boats and boatbuilders. That is how we discovered VERGA’s Sestante 6.8.
Rather than developing a larger Lago ourselves, we travelled to Lomazzo to meet the Verga family and discuss the possibility of working together.
And so, in May 2026, the first Sestante 6.8 arrived in Switzerland. Today, Nautica’s is the exclusive VERGA representative for Switzerland and Lake Constance.

SUPRA and MOOMBA are built by Skier’s Choice in Maryville, Tennessee. For more than four decades, the company has focused on inboard boats for wakeboarding, wakesurfing and waterskiing.
For us, SUPRA represents some of the very best in this segment. Construction, finish, technology and driving characteristics impress down to the smallest detail. MOOMBA draws on the same experience, bringing much of it to a deliberately more accessible price point.
That is why we chose to add SUPRA and MOOMBA to our range and represent both brands on Lake Lugano.
