At the Port of Lugano, we operate a service facility directly on the water, where we carry out mechanical work of all sizes competently and efficiently. At our headquarters in Bioggio, our services are complemented by painting, fibreglass and woodworking facilities. This allows us to provide everything from a single source – from regular maintenance to the repair of an insurance claim.

Lifting & Transport
Are you coming to Lugano with your boat and would like to launch it by crane? Or do you need to transport a boat? From small to large – we have the right solution.

The boat ramp in the Port of Lugano is open to the public and does not require a reservation. You can use it at any time to launch or retrieve your boat yourself.
Inspections & Certifications
Swiss navigation regulations require boats to undergo regular inspections by the competent authority. The owner receives an official notice for the inspection. On Lake Lugano, motorboats with more than 8 hp are inspected at the Port of Lugano.
The exhaust emissions document must also be kept up to date. It is valid for three years and is renewed as part of the corresponding engine service.
